Sustainability within the Getzner Textil Group
acunic is an in-house brand of Getzner Textil AG. Energy efficiency and sustainable production processes are among the core principles of Getzner Textil’s corporate philosophy. Through innovative projects, we set impulses for the protection of people and the environment.
Durability and Care
acunic acoustic textiles are designed for durability and easy care, thereby contributing to sustainable spatial concepts. The materials are flame-retardant and do not require additional chemical flame retardants.
The fabrics can be cleaned at 40 °C on a gentle cycle or easily wiped with a damp cloth. Alternatively, careful vacuuming or light beating is sufficient. To maintain consistently high quality, gentle cleaning with similar colours is recommended, as well as avoiding bleach, fabric softener and dry cleaning.
Take-Back System
Our acoustic textiles are made from Trevira CS yarn – a durable, flame‑retardant polyester yarn with permanent fire protection embedded in the fibre itself. This means the material remains a valuable raw material even after multiple usage cycles.
As part of a take-back system, the textiles can be returned at the end of their service life and responsibly recycled, helping to extend the overall product life cycle.
